When news broke out on August 4 that former Big Brother Naija Double Wahala housemates Bamike ‘Bambam’ Olawunmi and Tope ‘Teddy A’ Adenibuyan had gotten engaged, there was a lot of excitement from fans and well-wishers across social media.
You don’t have to be an avid follower of Big Brother Naija to know about Bambam and Teddy A’s love story. The two first met as housemates and a liking ensued. They both built up a relationship that waxed stronger as the show went on. Many thought the end of their time on the show would signal the end of the relationship. How wrong they were. We can now boldly say that Bambam and Teddy A’s love story is truly a fairytale kind.

The reality TV star couple’s traditional wedding took place in Ibese, Ilaro in Ogun State on Saturday, September 7, a month after their official engagement announcement. They were joined by close friends and family members and of course their former housemates from the BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ season – including Nina Onyenobi, Cee C, Leo Dasilva, Anto Lecky and others.
Over the last three days, Bambam and Teddy A’s traditional wedding has become one of the hottest trending topics across the media as videos and photos of the event have flooded social media platforms. For one of his looks, the groom, Teddy A was clad in a black and orange stripped danshiki set made from the traditional ‘aso-oke’ fabric. He matched the set with a pair of black tassel loafers, accessorising with some gold accessories and traditional bead pieces.
To complement her groom’s look, Bambam adorned an orange bell-sleeved buba with matching iro. She completed the look with silver accessories embellished with crystals and coral beads, finishing the ensemble with a pair of black open-toe heels with decorative stones on it. The couple showcased a total of 3 looks on their big day as styled by Mimi Yina of Medlin Couture. Makeup artist Chineye Daniella was on hand to ensure Bambam’s face beat was on point.
By all indications, it was truly a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony and we are super excited for the newest celebrity couple.
