Despite the fact that wearing shorts on a suit or blazer sounds awesome, no one buys the idea of wearing them in cold season like the harmattan. The feature of a suit goes with a bit of structure, cozy fabrics (ability to make you feel warm in cold weather). And everyone will agree that wearing a suit during the heat period is pretty annoying. Well, this is where the use of shorts on Suit/Blazers come to play.
If a Suit/Blazer with a matching short feels uncomfortable during the heat period, the combo is definitely going to get you tired. You’ll look awesome, pretty, handsome but inside you’re hot as someone in a bakery. Yes! It can be tricky but you don’t need to sacrifice your comfort. You can take it off when you get uncomfortable but make sure you’re wearing something okay underneath the blazer, like a round neck T-shirt and when you get to a place that’s loaded with Air conditioning you can put them on (Places like restaurants, your place of work etc)
To make your look more Freaky ( by that I mean awesome) you can opt in for a sneaker or heels.
“Shorts suits strike a balance between seriousness and fun. I like that there’s room for play,” says Yoyo Cao, the Singapore-based entrepreneur with a penchant for the Bermuda cut. She has several co-ordinating sets, with a Bottega Veneta version being her favourite. As for advice on how to tackle the trend, she counsels: “It’s really a moment for footwear to take centre-stage. I usually wear mine with a statement pair of heels or knee-high boots.”

For those with skinny legs, you might be thinking “Why will I wear this? I’m to slim.” This is easy! Not all Blazers will fit everyone but there is always one for you out there so you can go for a knee length blazer, picking a high waisted shape that balances out a long line blazer, with a streamlined layer underneath.
According to Valentino and Chloé,
“Tailored shorts have always performed incredibly well for us”
