The 2025 Trendupp Awards was definitely a night to remember. Held on Sunday, July 13 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, the event brought together some of the biggest names in the influencer and content creation space.

With this year’s theme Still Explosive, the award show stayed true to its name. It celebrated the amazing work of influencers, creators, and brands who have been taking over social media with their creativity and bold content.
A total of 104 people were nominated across 17 categories. Winners were selected by a respected group of judges, including Iyabo Ojo, Sam Onyemelukwe, Kelechi Amadi Obi, and Ameyaw Deborah.
One of the biggest highlights of the night was seeing Veekee James win Force of Influence (Nigeria). Her work so far really made a strong impact, and this award was well-deserved.
Liquorose also walked home with the Force of Lifestyle Content award for her top-tier lifestyle posts and videos. Pooja, a first-time nominee, won Force of X (Twitter), while Peller and Jadrolita were announced as winners of Force of Virality.
Opeyemi Famakin took home the Force of Food Content award for his amazing food content that has kept fans hooked.
