FilmOne Entertainment took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, calling it a “massive win for Nollywood.” This groundbreaking success comes on the heels of Funke’s previous hit, A Tribe Called Judah, which also grossed over N1 billion last year. With this, Funke Akindele becomes the first filmmaker in Nollywood to achieve this feat with two movies in a single year.
