Megan Thee Stallion just hit the red carpet in what may be her most daring — and glamorous — outfit yet, and we’re pretty much seeing stars.
Megan had all eyes on her when she visited Miami to celebrate her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover. She sparkled like the icon she is in a shimmery sheer silver chain mail gown by Natalia Fedner, complete with rhinestone straps and an up-to-there slit. The slit was accented with a few sparkling rhinestone chains laddering all the way up her leg, and she wore a teeny G-string thong underneath.
According to the designer, the dress is completely handmade and a total work of art. “The gown took over 1800 feet of silver chain to make. It’s entirely hand made — we don’t cut any textile (we literally weave it to fit each person using our patented technique),” the brand shared on Instagram. “We used 40 feet of vintage Swarovski silver chain for the leg chains.” They also added rhinestones to Megan’s Dolce & Gabbana heels to make sure she glittered from head to toe. The look was styled by Zerina Akers, one of Beyoncé’s go-to designers and stylists.
While the gown was definitely the centerpiece of Megan’s look, she brought her A-game with her hair and makeup too. Her hair was styled in a sleek top knot with a few spiky pieces pulled out for a ’90s-esque vibe, and her timelessly gorgeous makeup look included fluttery lashes, flawless skin, and glossy lips. Megan’s signature long nails were manicured in a shimmery black with translucent tips, and she added long, dangling diamond earrings and an ear cuff, as well as a few bangle bracelets and a ring, as the finishing touch to a truly stunning ensemble.
Megan loves a thigh-high slit, as evident by both her most recent red carpet moment and the Jean Paul Gaultier gown she wore to the 2021 BET Awards, which featured major slits on both sides. Follow Megan’s lead this summer a show a little leg or get your sparkle and shine on — it is hot girl summer after all.
