Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, whose real name is Pope Odonwodo, has tragically passed away. The news of his death was announced on Wednesday, April 10, by filmmaker Samuel Olatunji, who shared that the actor was one of four individuals who lost their lives when their boat capsized in the Anam River.
Junior Pope was on his way to a filming location when the incident occurred. Despite not wearing a life jacket, he had pleaded with the boat captain to navigate the waters slowly, as he had three children to raise.
