Halima Aden, The First Model To Wear Hijab On Vogue’s Cover is On Observers Magazine February Issue

Halima Aden is an American fashion model. She is noted for being the first woman to wear a hijab in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant, where she was a semi-finalist. Following her participation in the pageant, Halima received national attention and was signed to IMG Models.

She was the first model to wear hijab on the cover of Vogue and the first to wear a burkini in Sports Illustrated. She’s used to breaking barriers. In this Sunday’s cover story, she talks to Elle Hunt about shattering stereotypes, and using fashion as a force for change.

She’s on Observers Magazine latest titled “Modesty Blaze” – How Halima Aden Is Putting The Hijab On Fashion Front Row. She spotted in a golden color dress with subtle makeup and a pink lipstick.
