The “Oga at the Top” streaming platform, Netflix has taken up another level in Nigeria by signing deals with top Nigerian movie makers in the such as EbonyLife and more.

In February 2020, on the 25th to be precise, Netflix announced the arrival of Netflix Naija with a newly created Twitter account.

Making the announcement with top Nigerian actors and actresses, they captioned it

N is for Naija. N is for Nollywood. N is the 14th alphabet. 14 is also how many great talents you’re looking at. N is for Netflix. But most importantly…hello, Nigeria!

It’s super exciting to see Nigerian movies in the top streaming platform in the world. So if you are new to Nollywood movies or you’re already a guru, here are movies you need to see ASAP.
