A Night of Epic Boldness: ‘Labake Olododo’ Premiere Brings Nollywood’s Warriors To Life

Labake Olododo

Lagos was alive with glamour and cultural pride on March 23, 2025, as Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX Lekki hosted the dazzling premiere of Labake Olododo: The Warrior Lord.

The event wasn’t just a movie debut—it was a powerful celebration of Yoruba heritage, female strength, and Nollywood’s brightest stars.

Produced by the ever-graceful Iyabo Ojo and directed by the talented Biodun Stephen, the film tells the gripping story of Labake, a fierce woman navigating loyalty, power, and leadership in pre-colonial Yorubaland.
