Here are Five ways you can take awesome Selfies :
1. Snap at golden hour.

Lesson number one, get your lighting right. Dark, dingy corner, will not make for a pretty pictures, unless you have a ringlight handy. If so, avoid standing directly in front of the light source. Tilt your head to the side slightly keeping the source of light between you and the lens, this will ensure even coverage and avoid a washed out look.

But you’re best off sticking to natural light. If you’re at home, stand in front of a window. If you’re outside, bask in the sunlight. As for the best time of the day to snap, it’s golden hour (the first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset), just ask Chrissy Teigen, who gave an impromptu tutorial on her Instagram.

2. Tilt your head back and forth in front of the camera until you find the perfect light.

When the sun hits in the right spot, you’ll know it. Give yourself options by tilting your face at different angles to find your best light. Allow Yara Shahidi to demonstrate.

4. Try these angles

Try these angles. A failsafe option is to raise your phone above your eye line and look up. But, don’t be afraid to experiment, tilting your camera upward from below can look beautiful, and shooting with your camera held slightly off to the side can add interest.
