Fashion brand, JaneMichael Collection, has released its latest collection titled “One Man Army
The brand was founded by Jane Michael Ekanem two years ago. Prior to launching the label, Jane Michael Ekanem had been a stylist, a job she still does, for 10 years and has worked with A-list African celebrities including Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Bonang Matheba and many more.
This collection was inspired by her struggles in the industry and the strength she had to pull from herself to succeed. Heavily infused with the military-inspired style, the colors range from army green to blood red to navy blue and khaki with a splash of white.
The designs are strong with short sleeve body-fit blazers and sheer trousers with side leather layering, sleek silhouettes and African-infused embellished shoulders which gives a nod to the ’80s. The collection walks the line of edgy chic and androgyny, with a green jumpsuit specifically designed for both sexes.
