Heineken Lagos Fashion Week has dropped it’s official schedule and we are so excited. The 13th edition of Lagos Fashion Week is set to hold from the October 25 – October 29, 2023.
The 5 days fashion event will showcase captivating Runway Shows, Presentations, and a host of activities spanning across the vibrant city of Lagos.
This year’s schedule shows how much the organizers care about our continent. Their theme, “Standing The Test of Time,” means they’re committed to supporting creativity, especially through programs like Fashion Focus and Green Access. The runway lineup reflects their dedication to bringing a fresh vibe to fashion!
A thriving and lasting fashion world relies on finding and backing new talents. The organizers focus on teamwork, honing skills, and helping these talents reach markets. From October 26th to the 29th, #LagosFW runway welcomes these rising artists, reinforcing Lagos as the go-to hub for emerging talent in the continent.

XRETAIL: is back in Lagos at concept stores Zinkata & Vane Style from October 25th to October 31st after successful pop-ups in Abidjan, Abuja, Accra, and Cape Town. Check out a curated collection featuring both well-known and emerging African designers!
Lagos Fashion Week X ANKA: Lagos Fashion Week teams up with ANKA, the Ivorian e-commerce startup (previously AFRIKEA), for a private roundtable dinner with industry leaders and a designers’ cocktail event on Wednesday, October 23rd, to kick off the LagosFW celebrations.
UNESCO: On October 26th, 2023, at Lagos Fashion Week, UNESCO will unveil its inaugural report on “The African fashion sector: Trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.” Get insights into the vast potential of African fashion and strategic recommendations for sustainable growth. RUNWAY SHOWS: Get ready for the runway spectacle! From October 26th to 28th, the Lagos Fashion Week Tents will be officially open for shows at the Federal Palace Hotel, starting at 5 pm daily. It’s fashion time!
GREEN ACCESS SHOWCASE: Green Access Showcase puts the spotlight on transforming Lagos waste into eco-friendly designs. Designers like Luqman Ajani, Adebayo Adedamola, Wuraola Omiyale, Tunde Shoremekun, and Temetan Omolabake will unveil their collections crafted from recycled materials, especially second-hand clothes from Lagos’s largest markets. Save the date for their runway debut on Saturday, October 28th, 2023!
HEINEKEN at 150 ANNIVERSARY : Heineken, the iconic beer brand celebrating its 150th anniversary, will kick off the festivities on #LagosFW grounds on Saturday, October 28th. The launch event embodies Heineken’s dedication to spreading good times and embracing the gezelligheid lifestyle it represents. Cheers to a celebration of 150 years!
LAGOS FASHION WEEK and THE FASHION COLLECTIVE NAIJA – GARMENTS Of The FUTURE: Lagos Fashion Week is embarking on an innovative collaboration with The Fashion Collective Naija to venture into uncharted territories by introducing “Garments of the Future,” an initiative aimed to create digital replicas of clothing seen on the runway. This collaboration represents a pivotal step forward in the fashion industry, as it aligns physical fashion presentations with emerging digital possibilities.
