Rihanna Joins LVMH In Launching Her Own Luxury Fashion Line

Rihanna is getting set to launch her own luxury fashion brand, the pop star said on Friday, according to AFP.

She’s collaborated with LVMH, the world’s biggest fashion and lifestyle conglomerate to create the new fashion house which will be called “Fenty”.

Designing the new high end line “is an incredibly special moment for us. I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together,” Rihanna said.

“Mr (Bernard) Arnault (owner of LVMH), has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits,” Rihanna said.

Rihanna has also shared the logo of the new brand on Instagram.

“Big day for the culture. Thank you Mr. Arnault for believing in this little girl from the left side of an island, and for giving me the opportunity to grow with you at @LVMH . This is proof that nothing is impossible. Glory be to God. 🙏🏿,” she wrote in another post on Instagram.

There are rumours that first creations for Rihanna’s line may be unveiled later in May.

There’s also speculation that the line would be launched alongside the singer’s highly anticipate ninth album.
