The SS25 Paris Men’s Fashion Week is a wrap and we’re left in awe of the exciting collections which were unveiled during the show. Designers graced our eyes with a wide variety of looks and outfits showcasing fashion on a global scale with comfort and individuality as a priority.
The theme focused a lot on travel showcasing outfits that will suit diverse cultures and locations. The Pharrell Williams’ collection for Louis Vuitton was named “ Le monde est a’ vous” which means “The World is Yours”. The outfits featured geometric map patterns and aviation-themed outerwear suggested a lifestyle of travel, with colours mirroring the blues and greens of the world. The collection exuded a sense of freshness and optimism, embodying a revived passion for adventure.
NAMESAKE’s “OFFSHORE” collection showcased the brand’s familial roots and hinted towards personal growth.
At Paris Fashion Week Men SS25, icons like Hermès and Dries Van Noten delivered collections blending innovation with reverence for their legacies. Hermès focused on effortless summer staples in opulent fabrics, while Dries Van Noten bid farewell with a masterful display of colour and texture, tinged with melancholic beauty.
Rick Owens fused fashion and performance art, and Junya Watanabe played with oversized tailoring and unexpected materials. Wales Bonner explored Black masculinity through tailored pieces rich in texture and sophistication.
Gender fluidity was a prevailing theme, with Hed Mayner challenging masculinity norms with flowing, comfortable garments, and Homme Plissé Issey Miyake offering pleated pieces in diverse styles and colours.
Beyond the runway, Paris’ fashion elite flaunted pleated jorts and cropped jackets, showcasing playful summer trends. Graphic bombers and checkerboard prints added sporty flair, while turquoise accents brought vibrant pops of colour.
Paris Men’s Fashion Week SS25 epitomized menswear’s evolution, from travel inspirations to heritage celebrations and explorations of gender norms. As fashion embraces fluidity, Paris reaffirmed its role as a global beacon of creativity and innovation in menswear.
