Top Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan Released The Official Poster Of Latest Series “Aníkúlápó: Rise of the Spectre”

Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has released the official poster for his highly awaited series, “Aníkúlápó: Rise of the Spectre.” Following the tremendous success of the 2022 Yoruba epic film “Aníkúlápó,” this four-part series is slated to debut on the global streaming platform, Netflix.

The upcoming series will feature VERY familiar faces such as Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, and Sola Sobowale reprising their iconic roles. Excitingly, the cast includes newcomers like Gabriel Afolayan, Layi Wasabi, and Lateef Adedimeji.

While details regarding the synopsis and release date of “Aníkúlápó: Rise of the Spectre” remain undisclosed, director Kunle Afolayan assures audiences of unexpected twists and turns that will redefine storytelling expectations. Production was handled by Kap Motion Pictures, with postproduction managed by Golden Effects Pictures.
